Terms of Service
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the FitGIF app ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. See also our Privacy Policy.
2. What the app does
FitGIF converts a video you choose on your Android phone into a GIF, with options such as size, length and quality. The conversion happens on your phone. Results vary by phone and by video, and we do not promise that a particular video, size target, or messaging app will work or that a GIF will play the same everywhere.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country if higher, to use the app. The app has no account or sign-in.
4. Free use and Pro
- The free version shows ads (see our Privacy Policy, section 5).
- Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play that removes ads permanently. It is not a subscription. Pro belongs to the Google Play account that bought it.
- Payments, prices, taxes and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's terms and refund policy. We do not receive your payment details.
- We may change the features, limits or price in future versions. A change does not affect a Pro purchase you have already made for the features it unlocked.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- convert, copy, share or distribute videos or GIFs that you do not have the right to use, or in a way that breaks the law, someone's rights, or the terms of the service you post them on;
- use the app to create unlawful, harassing, or deceptive content, or content that violates another person's privacy;
- try to bypass ads or the Pro purchase check;
- reverse engineer, tamper with, or interfere with the app or our services, except where the law allows.
6. Your content
The videos you pick and the GIFs you create are yours or belong to others. You are solely responsible for that content and for having the right to convert and share it. We do not receive, store or review it: conversion happens on your phone, and GIFs are saved to your gallery (Pictures/FitGIF). If you share a GIF, it goes to the app you choose, under that app's terms.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design and its name belong to the developer, who grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on your devices under these terms. GIFs you create from your own videos do not become ours. Google and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC. FitGIF is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
8. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility with every phone, video format or messaging app. Some places do not allow some exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, profit or content, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights.
10. Changes and ending
- We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
- You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the app.
11. Privacy
How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the courts of the Republic of Korea can hear disputes, except where mandatory consumer law of your country says otherwise.
